Based on the Company’s management philosophy of “making people happy through the creation and development of coffee culture” we are engaged in corporate activities aimed at creating shops that are forever loved by customers and become assets to the towns. We have positioned our management philosophy as the foundation by which every staff member acts and returns to, and we share and instill the management philosophy and policies that we uphold and value through our management communicating and putting them into practice as well as through online learning tools and the Company’s own “Coffee University,” which is a specialized education institution for fostering human resources to maintain and develop coffee culture into the future.

C-United is committed to enhancing the transparency of our financial status and securing the trust of our stakeholders through preparing financial documents in accordance with the Companies Act and receiving audits under the Companies Act by an audit corporation. In addition, to ensure that business operations are being conducted properly, we aim to increase our corporate value over the medium to long term by continuously reinforcing our governance systems, including our efforts to establish internal control systems compliant with listed companies.

We are dedicated to providing a working environment where every staff member is able to work in good health and with peace of mind.
We are engaged in initiatives to improve the working environment as well as maintain and promote the good health of every staff member of the Group to allow them to continue to work comfortably and in strong mental and physical health. As part of our initiative to curb long working hours, we have introduced a “work interval system” to secure a certain amount of rest time between the end of one workday and the start of the next workday and have also established limits on daily working hours to optimize working hours. Additionally, to facilitate occasions for our staff to reflect on their lifestyle habits, we provide regular opportunities for them to measure their vegetable intake and vascular age.

We are committed to creating comfortable work environments that emphasize a balance between work and private life.
In order to enrich the lives of each and every one of our employees, C-United is enhancing our systems and benefits with the intention of making work easier for everyone. Starting from April 2022, in addition to expanding the number of annual holidays, we have introduced a special leave system that offers our employees a birthday vacation day once a year in any month of their own birthday or that of their spouse or children as well as an anniversary vacation day for an anniversary or other such occasion. Furthermore, we have also introduced an expense subsidy system for hiring babysitters with the aim of creating an environment where it is easier to balance work and family life. We will continue to expand our efforts to create comfortable working environments.

We strive to strengthen compliance to promote business in accordance with societal norms.
In order to promote our business operations with an even higher sense of ethics, we have introduced a compliance course as part of our training for new graduates and mid-career recruits to share basic knowledge of such matters as laws, regulations, treaties, company rules, social common sense, and ethical standards, as well as appropriate response measures. We also conduct an “Employee Awareness Survey” with all staff members to hear their opinions on compliance and have organized a system to take appropriate improvement measures if a problem arises. We have furthermore established a “Hot Line” as an internal consultation service and are working to respond appropriately through this service by which our staff members may feel free to consult with us anytime and need not feel left alone with their concerns about human relations, workplace environment, harassment, and so forth.

We Strive Every Day to Adhere to Strict Food Safety Standards to Create an Environment in Which Customers Can Use Our Products Without Worry.
C-United is committed to quality control every day based on strict food safety standards. In order to develop safe products and ensure that customers can use our stores without worry, we are improving the level of hygiene control in our stores and disclosing health-related product information, such as calorie and allergen information. We are also working to improve the traceability of information on food standards, including information on food vendors, food production processes, primary ingredients used in food products, and additives, using IT systems. In addition, with the cooperation of our business partners, we regularly hold study sessions for our staff to provide them with opportunities to acquire knowledge in hygiene control.
